FAQ #2245 - What is a Subject-based English Course? | 5StarTeachers.Net
What is a Subject-based English Course?
The Answer:

A Subject-based English Course is a Course where the aim is to learn English about a particular subject. We strongly believe that learning English is most effective when it is learnt for a purpose that can be used immediately on a daily basis.
Example: Imagine you want to apply for a job with an Airline as a air hostess but your mother tongue is Korean (for example) and your level of English is not good enough to get accepted for the training. Wouldn't it make sense that a native English teacher who is ALSO an experienced air hostess for many years, teaches you what to say and how to talk to passengers on the aircraft in English before you apply for that job?
